At Casa Suaya, we continuously develop a community learning space, aimed at strengthening rural life and caring for the land.

 

Through open and free workshops, we promote the meeting of traditional knowledge and everyday practices, contributing to family and community well-being.

​

 

 

Workshop Focus Areas

 

• Kichwa language

• Music and cultural expression

• Everyday cooking and family nutrition

• Native medicinal plants and health care

 

These workshops are flexible, allowing new skills and knowledge to be incorporated over time according to the needs and interests of the community, and encouraging participation of elders and community wise people, preserving living traditions in homes and territory.

The workshops aim to:

 

• Make the most of available food in each household

• Improve family nutrition and healthy growth of children

• Promote care and respect for older adults

• Share knowledge about native medicinal plants and sustainable practices

 

Each workshop is an opportunity to strengthen family life, acquire practical tools for daily well-being, and build more conscious and supportive ways of living together.
