REST, LEARNING AND COMMUNITY

Under the watchful gaze of Taita Imbabura and Mama Cotacachi.

Casa Suaya is a place for gathering, learning, and creating around the fire.

We work towards a way of life that is more mindful, supportive, and sustainable.

WELCOME to Casa Suaya

Casa Suaya is a space in continuous growth—a place to recognize and honor our roots, learn to live in harmony, and care for the Earth.

LIVING CONSTRUCTION

At Casa Suaya, the houses were built with clay, stone, and wood, following the rhythms of the climate and the land. Each wall holds the warmth of the fire and the labor of many wise hands from the community.

LIVING SOWING

In the gardens of Casa Suaya, over six hundred plants grow, including native, medicinal, and fruit species. Here also thrives San Pedro (WACHUMA), the master plant of the Andean territory.

This space is not meant for mass production, but to keep alive our relationship with the land, guided by the knowledge that teaches us to care for it without exploiting it.

Each plant has its purpose: to heal, to nourish, to balance. We sow and learn from the climate, the fire, and the passage of time, remembering that the Earth blooms when it is respected.
