CASA SUAYA

A Complete Space for Groups in the Ecuadorian Andes

Casa Suaya is made up of five independent houses built mainly with earth, stone and wood, surrounded by gardens, vegetable gardens and spaces for gathering.

Together, the houses offer 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and accommodation for groups of up to 12 people.

The entire property is reserved for each group, allowing guests to enjoy the space privately and organize their stay according to the needs of each gathering.

Each house has its own character and was built at different stages of Casa Suaya’s development.

OUR CLAY HOUSES

UCHILLA WASI– SMALL HOUSE

THE COZY HUT

Cozy studio-style clay house

 

  • Double bed + one and a half sofa bed

  • Living area with fireplace

  • Equipped induction kitchen, mini fridge

  • Full bathroom with personal bathtub

MUSHUK WASI – NEW HOUSE

Studio of wood, baked clay, and stone

 

  • Bunk bed (double bed + one and a half bed)

  • Fireplace

  • Small dining area

  • Two-burner equipped kitchenette

  • Full bathroom

ALLPA WASI – BIG HOUSE

Two-level clay house with wide corridors

 

  • 2 bedrooms:

     

    • Loft: double bed + double sofa bed, two balconies

    • Ground floor: bunk bed (double bed + one and a half bed)

  • Living room with fireplace

  • Fully equipped induction kitchen + fridge

  • 1 full bathroom

  • Outdoor wood-fired oven with dining area

KILLA WASI – HOUSE OF THE MOON

Clay house with 2 bedrooms

 

  • Bedroom 1: double bed

  • Bedroom 2: bunk bed (double bed + one and a half bed)

  • Equipped induction kitchen + small dining area

  • Outdoor corridor with small wood-fired oven

SPACES TO GATHER

In addition to the independent houses, Casa Suaya has shared spaces where groups can spend time together throughout their stay.

COMMON ROOM

A space to gather, talk, hold workshops, share presentations or simply spend time together around the fire.

 

KITCHEN

A spacious shared kitchen with a wood-fired oven, traditional tullpa and areas for preparing and sharing food.

 

DINING AREA & BARBECUE

Spaces for cooking and eating together, both indoors and outdoors.

GARDENS & VEGETABLE GARDENS

The outdoor areas connect the houses with the gardens, vegetable gardens and different corners of the property.

FIRE SPACES

The fireplaces in the houses and the outdoor areas around the fire are part of everyday life at Casa Suaya.

STONE HOT TUB

We have a hot-water stone hot tub, available as part of selected gatherings and stays.

🌿 A SPACE FOR YOUR GROUP

Casa Suaya is not a room-by-room accommodation.

Each group reserves the entire space, allowing the property to be organized according to the purpose of the stay: rest, shared experiences, workshops, meetings, celebrations or multi-day programs.

The spaces can be adapted to different group activities and needs.

We also provide:

  • Projector and screen

  • Speaker and microphone

  • Rectangular and round tables

  • Wooden chairs

  • Handmade clay tableware

  • Kitchen and wood-fired oven

  • Barbecue area

  • Outdoor areas for activities

A HOUSE THAT IS STILL EVOLVING

Casa Suaya did not begin as a finished project.

For more than a decade, we have been building, repairing, planting and transforming this space with our own hands, using materials such as earth, stone and wood.

That is why each house and every corner carries part of that story.

The house continues to change over time, shaped by the people who live here, visit and share the space.
